Shane's love of horsepower began early, when at 7 yrs old he was given a four wheel Honda Odessey. Spending hundreds of hours behind the
wheel, he developed many of his driving skills
At 9 he began riding the two wheel variety of horsepower when he got his first motorcycle. |
| Autoracing |
| In 1993, At 16 Shane began his Autoracing career at Holland International Speedway, racing in the NASCAR Winston Racing Series, Charger division.
His love of speed and competition only increased with every Saturday night. |

In 1993 he Just missed being named Rookie of the Year Had many top tens, and several top five’s. |
| 1994 |
| In 1994, Shane competed again at Holland Speedway where he was named the Series’ most popular driver. |
| 1995 |
| When 1995 came, he Competed at Holland Speedway again, however due to lack of sponsorships, could not complete the season. |
| 1998 |
| With the introduction of the Cup Lites, Shane began competing in the Cup Lites racing series in 1998, winning the very first race and finally taking the checkered flag

| Goals |
| Shanes' goals to become a NASCAR driver in one of the top three
touring series is becoming closer to reality every day. With the support of a terrific sponsor in "A HERD of Laughter" and
the guidance of BG Motorsports, Shane is scheduled to finally take that next big step in his
career and race in not only the Goody's Dash series, but in the Craftsman Truck Series too! |
